Today we gathered in both streams for critique. As we laid down our initial mockup, we went around the room to get a feel for how everyone else is progressing conceptually and visually. Some of the feedback we had included:
Unclear Audience: though we had the correct statistics it was not specific enough to balance out our broad topic
Visuals: at this stage we are still not visually cohesive.
Client: we have to include our audience (students) as part of our stakeholders.
Order: we have to sort out in which order could our visual brief be best represented.
Barriers: at the moment they are only assumptions, we need solid research and facts.
Afterwards we did a word list brainstorm to help us narrow down the sort of imagery that we could use for the next mockup. Our 3 key words that prompted out other words were Food, Physical, Mental/Emotional. We felt that these words also serve as the basis of our research as they strongly relate to nutrition.
